Wedding Sites
Convict Lake offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Morrison, Laurel Mountain and the hillsides surrounding the lake. Lake views are idyllic and create the perfect picture for your wedding.
The lake is open to the public. Wedding couples may obtain permission to use areas around the lake to conduct their ceremony including the popular shale beach area and the secluded main site area which is ADA accessible .
In order to use an area at the lake you must obtain prior approval and or a permit from the USFS Mammoth Lakes District Office. You may contact their offices or ask your wedding planner to assist you with this process.
Reception
The Restaurant at Convict Lake offers a romantic venue that can fit every couple’s distinct vision. We can create a small intimate setting or a grand affair. Our goal is to create a unique experience for every couple and their guests. Having indoor/ outdoor space allows us to take advantage of the sensational mountain weather through all seasons.
Planning Your Wedding
We can provide you with a referral list of local vendors such as photographers, musicians and DJ’s, florist, beauticians, bakeries, etc. to assist you.
You may also contact M-n-M Events and Party Rentals to assist you. M-N-M is a full service wedding planning and party rental company that works closely with our staff. They can assist you with your wedding at Convict Lake or elsewhere in the Eastern Sierra . You may contact them directly at 760-382-1710 for assistance. If you have another wedding planner please have them contact the resort directly at 760-934-3800 to discuss your event.
Catering
The Restaurant at Convict Lake is recognized as the prime dining location in the Eastern Sierra. We have been catering for over 20 years. Our talented chefs and experienced serving staff are ready to cater to your every need.
